What a Kenyan POS has to get right

• Stock that moves with the sale. Selling should decrement stock in the same transaction, so the reorder report is true in the morning.
• Working offline. Connections drop. A POS that stops selling during an outage costs more than it saves, so sales are taken locally and synchronise when the link returns.
• KRA eTIMS. Where the business must fiscalise, the invoice is transmitted and the control-unit fields are stored on the receipt record.
• Cash-up that reconciles. Shift open, shift close, expected against counted, and a variance the owner can actually investigate.
• Multi-branch. Stock and sales per location, and one consolidated view for the owner.
